Abstract
Domain-Specific Languages (DSLs) are programming languages, or executable specification languages, that offer expressive power focused on a particular problem domain through appropriate notations and abstractions. This book covers the design, implementation and use of DSLs in depth, based on a modern generation of language workbenches. It discusses the conceptual foundations of DSLs, language design, and the implementation of languages and IDEs, drawing on case studies and the authors' practical experience.
